The Russian military continues to plunder the temporarily occupied territories, calling it “nationalization”.
The chairman of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, told how this process is going: “The redistribution of property is taking place, because from the first days of the occupation, the Russians have been massively trying to seize Ukrainian enterprises. Of course, it looked like banditry, when some Russian units arrived, and after a few weeks, the next, already “Kadyrov” units, and then also the FSB, and took away enterprises,” says Fedorov.
According to him, the Russians are currently trying to “legalize” the seizure of enterprises. For this purpose, the Russians created a commission consisting of nine people, among whom there is no one from the temporarily occupied territory. “The commission includes imported people and this commission distributes enterprises: which businessman from the Russian Federation will take a certain production, or any business or enterprise. They call this “nationalization” in order for the economy to somehow exist in the temporarily occupied territory,” says the Melitopol chairman. At the same time, the concept of “nationalization” does not even exist in any law of the Russian Federation.
“What nationalization is, according to which laws it is carried out, is not clear at all. These rules were introduced by Gauleiter Balytskyi, who calls himself the “governor of the Zaporizhia region.” And it is according to these rules, or rather lawlessness, that the redistribution of our enterprises is taking place today, – says Ivan Fedorov. — It looks like this in practice: they come conditionally for the production of some products, for example, bakeries. And the commission of nine people says that this bakery will now belong to the enterprise from the Krasnodar Territory, according to the decision of this commission. At the same time, the management changes, all employees are given this information, and after that the former owner no longer has anything to do with this bakery. Today, such anarchy is taking place throughout the temporarily occupied territory.”
