During the day of June 5, Russian troops shelled communities in the Nikopol district more than two dozen times. The Nikopol, Marhanetska, Pokrovska, Myrivska and Chervonogryhorivska communities were under fire.

A man born in 1954 was injured as a result of the attack on the residential sector.
Emergency workers transported the injured person to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of traumatic amputation of the right lower limb. At least three private houses were damaged as a result of the shelling, and fires broke out in two of them. Thanks to the work of rescuers, the fire was quickly extinguished.
Destruction of infrastructure facilities, an apartment building and an outbuilding were also recorded.
4 rescuers and 1 unit of equipment from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region were involved in providing assistance.
