A family with a four-year-old child came under fire in Chernihiv Region

On December 2, the Russians again shelled the border areas of Chernihiv Region.

As a result, civilians were injured in the Semenivska community. This was announced by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

A family with a 4-year-old child was injured. The man suffered shrapnel wounds and was treated at a local hospital. His daughter is being transported to the regional hospital, where she is awaiting surgery. Fortunately, the 4-year-old grandson was not injured, Chaus noted.

The details are as follows: the family came for the weekend to visit their relative in the border village and came under enemy fire while leaving the house on the street, he added.

The press service of the police of the Chernihiv region notes that local police officers immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and helped the “ambulance” brigade rescue people from enemy fire and evacuate the victims to the hospital.

In the hospital, the victims were given the necessary assistance. Psychologists are currently working with the boy. The policemen remain there to support the injured, the child’s father has arrived, the message states.
