On January 6, Russian shelling caused two fires in the cities of Gulyaipole and Orihiv, Pologiv District, Zaporizhzhia Region.
This was reported in the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the first case, the rescuers extinguished the fire of the roof of a private residential building with an area of 10 square meters, in the second – a garage with a car with a total area of 108 square meters. Information about the injured and the dead was not received.
In order to ensure the household needs of the population, the employees of the State Emergency Service delivered 30.4 tons of technical water to the cities of Gulyaipole and Orihiv of the Pologiv district and the urban-type village of Stepnohirsk of the Vasyliv district.
A total of 43 rescuers and 9 units of equipment were involved from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service for extinguishing fires and providing assistance.
The units of the State Emergency Service are on high alert and in the territories where the fighting continues, after the end of the artillery fire, they are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of emergency events.
