On May 5, a reed bed caught fire in the territory of the Kamianets-Podilskyi community of the Kirovohrad region due to the fall of a downed Russian drone.

The head of the Kamianets-Podilskyi community, Oleksandr Syritsa, reported that the fire did not spread to the buildings.

“It was burning in an open area. It’s good that people have large gardens there. Rescuers extinguished everything.”

Oksana Korol, a spokeswoman for the regional emergency services, said that the fire was extinguished at around 6:00 a.m.
