A guided bomb strike on Sumy: houses destroyed, children aged 5 and 17 and an 87-year-old woman injured

Acting chairman of Sumy Artem Kobzar reported details of an airstrike on one of the city’s private sectors on February 20.

The explosion completely destroyed two residential buildings and a car. Neighboring households also suffered significant damage.

Preliminarily, three people were injured: two children aged 5 and 17 and an 87-year-old woman. The injured woman was hospitalized, and all victims are receiving necessary medical care.

Rescuers, doctors, law enforcement officers and municipal services are working at the scene. The territory is being surveyed and the consequences of the enemy strike are being eliminated.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the entire A private house was destroyed, and approximately 10 households were also damaged.
