A large-scale fire at an oil depot in the Rivne region

Rivne region was attacked by enemy drones “Shakhed” at night. As a result of an enemy terrorist attack, drones hit an oil depot – there were no casualties.

On the night of August 10, 2023, the Russians struck the territory of a civilian oil depot in the Duben district. Drones destroyed a fuel tank and caused a massive fire. The Russians once again attacked Ukrainian infrastructure.

The law enforcement officers have started a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war. Investigators collect all necessary evidence and document the consequences of aggression. Rescuers are also on site.

“On the night of August 10, the Russians attacked the Rivne region with drones. The oil depot in the Duben region was destroyed, there are no victims,” the head of the Rivne regional military administration, Vitaliy Koval, also reported on this.

45 rescuers and 14 pieces of equipment are working at the scene. The fire train is involved. Corresponding investigative commissions headed by the heads of the regional law enforcement agencies are also working.

Koval also reported that the chemical and radiation background is normal. Evacuation of the population will not be applied.

Attack of the Shaheds on the Rivne region

The Russians attacked the base with Geran-2 drones, better known as Shahed. Russia continues its daily terror.

On the night of August 10, the Russians attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. It is reported about 10 UAVs launched from the Kursk region. In total, the attack lasted from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

In addition to Rivne region, Khmelnytskyi region was also targeted. Anti-aircraft defense worked successfully in the region.
