A night attack by “Shakhed” on the Odesa region

Russian troops with the help of “Shakheds” attacked the port infrastructure of the Danube in the Odesa region on the night of September 3, releasing 25 drones.

This is reported by the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine: “The Russians carried out several waves of attacks by attack UAVs “Shahed-136/131″ from the south and southeast (Cape Chauda, ​​Crimea and Primorsko-Okhtarsk, Russia). As a result of the night strike, the port infrastructure was hit, as a result of which a fire broke out, which the firefighters promptly extinguished. It is known in advance about two injured civilians. They were given medical assistance.

The Russians intensified their shelling of the ports

In recent months, Russian troops have intensified attacks on the port infrastructure of Ukraine. So, on the night of August 16, the Russian military bombarded southern Ukraine with kamikaze drones. Air defense forces shot down 13 “Shakheds” within Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

At the same time, the main goal of the invaders was again the ports. Yes, they attacked the port of Reni in the Odesa region.

Two tractors caught fire in two hangar-type metal warehouses. The building of the old elevator, part of the silos and grain storage warehouses were also damaged. In addition, a new grain warehouse, almost completed, was destroyed.

“The main task for us and our partners today is to eliminate the ability of the Russian Military-Industrial Complex to produce weapons for attacks on Ukraine. And to increase responsibility for those who help the Russians to circumvent sanctions,” he wrote.

What are the consequences of the attack

Rescuers and law enforcement officers published footage of the consequences of the attack on the ports of the Odesa region. The head office of the regional national police reported that two men, aged 34 and 42, were previously injured as a result of the attack. Doctors diagnosed one with a shoulder burn, and the other with shock wave stun.

“Wreckage of attack aircraft hit the territory of a private estate and the objects of the port infrastructure. A fire broke out on one of them, which was extinguished by the forces of the State Emergency Service. The police are recording the consequences of the enemy attack and collecting evidence of the crime committed by the Russian Federation,” the message said.

The attack on the ports may be related to the upcoming negotiations between Erdogan and Putin

“The Russian Federation always tries to create an appropriate information background before important international meetings. Two events can be connected: today’s attack on the Odesa region, on the port infrastructure of the Danube cluster, and the meeting of Mr. Erdogan with the “bunker grandfather” that will take place on September 4 in the Russian Federation , – he said.
