A policeman was killed in the Kherson region as a result of an attack by a Russian drone

In the Kherson region, as a result of an attack by a Russian drone, the inspector of the response sector of the patrol police of police department No. 1 of the Kherson district police department, senior police lieutenant Oleksandr Chehun, died.

The deceased was on duty at the checkpoint at the time of the attack. As a result of the attack, he was seriously injured. Oleksandr died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital

Oleksandr Chehun began his service in 2007 at the State Automobile Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kherson region.

He served in various units, in particular, in the battalion of the Kherson special police patrol service and the special police battalion.

The deceased was 36 years old. He is survived by his parents, his wife – also a policewoman – and a 12-year-old daughter.
