A Russian drone in Sumy region killed a rescuer who was returning home from work

In Sumy region, a Russian FPV drone hit a rescuer’s car as he was returning from a work shift.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on February 25.

The tragedy occurred in the Velykypysarivska community. Pavlo Mykolayovych Kolisnyk was returning from duty when his car was hit by a Russian FPV drone.

The deceased was a firefighter and rescuer in the Sumy region. He had served in the State Emergency Service since 1997.

This is another heavy and painful loss for the rescuers of the Sumy region and the entire large family of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Russia has taken another father, son, loyal friend and reliable colleague,” the State Emergency Service of the Sumy region noted.

The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleh Hrygorov, specified that the man was 57 years old.
