A young woman died and 11 people were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region

The de-occupied settlements of Kherson, Berislav and Kakhovsky districts continue to suffer from intense fire from the Russian occupation forces. On August 13, the Russians used artillery, mortars, rocket launchers, aviation and UAVs against the civilian population.

Russian attacks covered Kherson, Sadove, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Veletenske, Prydniprovske, Zimivnyk, Beryslav, Burgunka, Shlyakhove, Mykhailivka, Krupytsa, Red Lighthouse and Vesele.

53 objects were damaged by shelling: 37 private and seven apartment buildings, two administrative buildings, a critical infrastructure object, a dormitory, four cars and an ambulance.

On the afternoon of August 13, in one of the settlements of the Bilozersk community, the Russian military purposefully dropped ammunition from a drone on a civilian car moving along the highway. As a result of the explosion, the car caught fire, a 59-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were injured.

As a result of regular drone attacks, two private houses in Shlyahovo and a car in Bilozerka were damaged.

Strikes by FPV drones were recorded in Vesely, Sadovoy and Beryslav.

The Russians carried out airstrikes with four guided bombs on Burgunka, where 27 private houses were damaged by powerful explosions.

A 53-year-old woman was injured as a result of the morning artillery fire on the central streets of Kherson, and was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and concussion. Shells damaged three apartment buildings, two administrative buildings and a car. Also, in the very center of the city, the Russians dropped ammunition from a drone on the administrative building, which was damaged.

On the evening of August 13, two private houses were damaged by artillery fire in the Shumenskyi microdistrict, and a 62-year-old man was injured, who was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and shrapnel injuries.

Almost at midnight on August 13, this area was under a powerful attack from rocket salvo systems. A 7-year-old girl and a 70-year-old woman had an acute stress reaction. Three private houses and a dormitory where the fire started were damaged.

The Russians carried out a drone attack on the “Tavriyskyi” microdistrict, the explosion damaged a private house.

In the evening, the Russian military shelled the Dnipro district of the city with artillery. A 25-year-old woman died as a result of the impact, and doctors diagnosed her 5-year-old daughter with an acute reaction to stress. A 35-year-old woman was also injured, with an open fracture of her arm and shrapnel injuries. Four apartment buildings and an ambulance were damaged.

The Russians dropped ammunition from drones on the coastal districts of the Dnipro district, and a private house was damaged.

In the evening and night of August 13, Russian troops dropped explosives from unmanned aerial vehicles on the residential quarters of the Kherson suburb – Antonivka. A 61-year-old man and two women aged 61 and 69 were injured. Elderly people received mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries, shrapnel injuries to various parts of the body.

All emergency services worked at the scene, documented the crimes of the Russian army and overcame the consequences of shelling.

On August 13, the police responded to 338 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other events. 15 proceedings under Art. 438 “Violation of laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
