About 40 private houses damaged in Khmelnytskyi region due to Russian strike

This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, Ukrinform reports.

“About 40 private houses were damaged. Coordination work is underway with all necessary services and actions to eliminate the consequences have been planned,” the report says.

He recalled that 4 people died as a result of the attack. Five local residents received shrapnel wounds, among them a minor and an elderly woman who is in serious condition in the hospital.

The region’s farmers have joined the assistance, providing the necessary equipment and people, and municipal services have begun covering the damaged buildings and windows with film. For those who lost their homes, resettlement in a hotel has been organized, the head of the regional military administration informed. During the “Air Alert” signal, air defense forces in the region destroyed seven cruise missiles and four Shahed UAVs, he added.
