
On May 10, emergency rescue and restoration work continues in Kharkiv after another attack by Russian drones on the city’s civilian infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.
According to the head of the region, residential buildings, cars of citizens and objects of civilian infrastructure were again hit by Russian troops.
Currently, rescuers, law enforcement officers, doctors and municipal services are working at the sites of the hits.
“Units of the State Emergency Service are conducting emergency rescue work at the sites of the hits. Law enforcement officers are recording another war crime by the occupiers, emergency medical teams are also on duty at the sites. As always, we must make sure that no one else needs help,” said Oleg Synegubov.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also called on residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to follow safety rules during Russian attacks.
In parallel, work is underway in the city to restore electricity supply. Repair teams of the KharkivOblenergo Joint Stock Company are repairing damage to power lines and connecting private sector homes to the network.
“Our main task is to provide Kharkiv residents with electricity as soon as possible so that people can recover from the shelling and return to their usual lives,” said Oleksandr Ustychenko, head of the Kholodnohirsk district of electric networks.
The company also reported that in May alone, energy workers restored electricity supply to over 82,000 consumers in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region.
Currently, all relevant services continue to work on eliminating the consequences of another Russian strike on the city.
