After the shelling of the Shostka community, there is a real danger of encountering cluster munitions, in particular in one of the districts of the Voronezh village

Chairman Mykola Noga spoke about the consequences of the shelling of Shostka from the rocket salvo system at today’s apparatus meeting. He reported that there were four flights, three of them cluster munitions: “Serious damage was done to the community. One civilian boy was wounded. He is in the hospital.”

The chief doctor of the central district hospital, Oleg Shtogryn, emphasized that the victim’s condition has improved: “He was given full medical assistance. Now the condition is closer to satisfactory. He will recover.”

The chairman warned the residents of the community about the danger of cluster munitions left scattered after the enemy attack. He urged not to visit parks, squares, forest strips, which are not far from the city.

In particular, the head of the community appealed to the head of the Voronezh Starostyn District to warn the residents of the village about the danger of visiting the forest strip in the Dubyna region, where a rocket with a cluster munition had landed, and urged him to put a corresponding sign in that place.

Valery Yastrebov, in turn, noted that a dangerous place is in the Dubyna area and it is a local cemetery. Mykola Noga proposed to invite the rescuers to investigate the area for the presence of cluster munitions: “I thank the employees of the State Emergency Service. They worked for us this weekend… They worked extremely seriously, but it is impossible to take away all the cluster munitions.”
