Airstrike in Zaporizhzhia district: woman killed, two injured

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine: As a result of daytime airstrikes on February 28 in Zaporizhzhia district, an 86-year-old woman was killed and two residents were injured. The incident occurred as a result of attacks that led to the destruction of one of the houses. Rescuers unblocked the body of the deceased from under the rubble, and also extinguished the fire in the warehouse of a local enterprise.

In addition, one private home was damaged as a result of the airstrikes, but without further burning. Emergency and rescue operations have been completed, and the services continue to perform their duties in the region.

This tragic event highlights the direct consequences of military operations for the civilian population, who often become victims of conflicts. Zaporizhzhia district, like many other regions, continues to remain in a risk zone, which requires constant attention from rescue services and humanitarian organizations trying to provide assistance to the victims. The need to ensure safety for local residents during this difficult time is also important.
