Airstrike on Tsupivka: at least four injured, people may be under rubble

On the morning of February 24, the Russian army hit the Dergachivska community near Kharkiv with an air bomb.

The village of Tsupivka was shelled at around 10:15, said the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleg Synegubov.

“At around 10:15, the Russians hit the Kharkiv district with a guided air bomb. Two civilians were hospitalized in the village of Tsupivka,” his post says.

The injured are local residents, a father and son, said the head of the Dergachivska community, Vyacheslav Zadorenko. Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

“At this point, it is known that the Russians used a high-power air bomb. In Tsupivka, at least a dozen private houses and outbuildings were destroyed, fires are ongoing,” Zadorenko gave details.

Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident.

Later, the head of the community reported that the number of injured had increased to four. Community police officers brought a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl to Dergachivska Hospital. Their condition is stable. Dozens of outbuildings and 30 private residential buildings were damaged in this settlement, five of which were almost completely destroyed.

“The rubble, under which people may be, is being cleared at the scene. The elimination of numerous fires is also underway,” added Vyacheslav Zadorenko.

According to him, such destruction has not occurred in Tsupivka since 2022.
