Almost 2,000 children became victims of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, 545 of them died

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, 545 Ukrainian children have become victims of hostilities. Only in the past day, two children were injured as a result of the military aggression of the Russians.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine.

According to juvenile prosecutors, from February 24, 2022 to today, 545 children have died as a result of hostilities.

Another 1,309 Ukrainian children received wounds and injuries of varying degrees of complexity during this period.

According to statistics, the most children were affected in the following regions of Ukraine:

• Donetsk region — 529 children;
• Kharkiv region — 348 children;
• Kherson region — 150 children;
• Dnipropetrovsk region — 136;
• Kyiv region — 130;
• Zaporizhzhia region — 108;
• Mykolaiv region — 104 children.

The department also reported that on April 29, two more children were injured due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation. We are talking about children aged 5 and 16 in Odesa.

Since September of this year in schools in the occupied territories, children will be taught to pilot drones.
