Almost 41,000 houses have been damaged and destroyed in Donetsk region since February 2022

The total number of damaged and destroyed housing in the Donetsk region is 40,976. Among them are 4,184 apartment buildings and 36,792 private ones.

This was reported by the Donetsk regional military administration.

In May 2023, residents of Donetsk region submitted 10,157 applications for state aid to restore damaged housing. The respective commissions made 6,586 positive decisions.

Residents of Donetsk region submitted 4,874 applications for destroyed housing. 955 positive decisions were made for the total amount of UAH 1.5 billion.
