An 18-year-old artist died in Kharkiv as a result of Russian shelling

18-year-old artist Veronika Kozhushko died in Kharkiv on August 30 during Russian shelling.

The writer Serhiy Zhadan reported: “Today Nika Kozhushko died during shelling in Kharkiv – very young, sincere and gifted. An hour before her death, she sent her new drawing. In other words, his last drawing.”

Veronika Kozhushko took an active part in the creative life of the city. Journalist Vakhtang Kipiani said that he met the girl at his lecture on military burials in Kharkiv. He reported that the artist came under fire on the way to the presentation of the film.
