An ammonia pipeline was damaged in the occupied Donetsk region

An ammonia leak occurred in the Donetsk region near the village of Rusyn Yar due to damage to a section of the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline, which the Russian military blew up in the Donetsk region to contain the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to preliminary data, the explosion caused the leak of ammonia residues. The explosion created a toxic cloud that is dangerous to people and animals and causes burns to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract.

The smell of the substance was felt in nearby settlements, including Druzhkivka, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

Journalist Denis Kazanskyі says that the Russian army dropped a guided bomb in the area, and the explosion damaged communications.
