An energy engineer died as a result of a Russian missile attack on the Zaporizhzhia district

An energy engineer, injured the day before as a result of a Russian missile attack on an energy facility in the Zaporizhzhia district, died in the hospital.

This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

The deceased was a 38-year-old substation dispatcher in Zaporizhzhia.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine confirmed that this year he turned 38 years old,” the report said. “Another tragedy occurred – Denys Vasyliovych Novikov, the dispatcher of the Ukrenergo substation in the Zaporizhzhia region, died in the hospital from injuries sustained during a massive Russian attack.

Fedorov also reported that on June 22, Russian troops fired 522 times at nine settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Russian troops carried out six airstrikes on Novomykolaivtsi, Novoivanivtsi, and Kamianskyi.

185 Russian drones of various modifications attacked Gulyaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malinivka and Novoandriivka.

The Russians carried out 28 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on Malya Tokmachka, Novoandriivka and Robotyn.

The Russians fired 303 artillery shells on the territory of Gulyaipol, Malaya Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, Robotyny, Levadny and Malynyvka.

“We received five reports about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure,” Fedorov said.
