An explosion thundered in Odesa

An explosion was heard in the Odesa region during the alarm on the evening of September 24. It was probably the sound of a Russian UAV being shot down. At 21:17, an air alert was declared in the Odesa region. Already at 21:19, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded a UAV south of the regional center and deployed the necessary means to destroy it.

“Russian UAV south of Odesa. Means have been deployed to shoot it down,” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The sound of the explosion was heard after 22:00. This could have been the moment the Russian drone was shot down. It is likely that a Russian UAV is still in the airspace over Odesa.
