On the evening of January 24, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Odesa with Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the shelling, a multi-story residential building in Khadzhibey district was damaged and warehouses burned down.

It is reported that rescuers extinguished the fire in the new building. According to the chairman of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, the floor covering on the upper floors of the building was damaged.

According to the information of the chairman, two people were injured due to shelling. One victim was hospitalized in the city hospital with burns, he is in a moderate condition, the second suffered a bruise during a fall and refused hospitalization.

“In the morning, utility services will work on site, the operational headquarters will record damage to property,” Trukhanov said.
