An investigation has been launched into a missile strike on an enterprise in Sumy, which resulted in the death of two people

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office is conducting procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on May 14, 2025, at about 2:40 p.m., Russian troops launched a missile strike on one of the enterprises in the city of Sumy. As a result of the enemy attack, two civilian men aged 36 and 29 died, and nine more people were injured.

Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the missile strike. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in Sumy region.
