An Italian official was present during the Russian attack on a humanitarian convoy in the Kherson region

An Italian official was also present at the time of the Russian attack on the trucks of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Kherson region. He was not injured.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani strongly condemned the Russian attack and called such attacks by the Russian Federation on civilians, hospitals, and now on humanitarian workers “unacceptable”: “Russia must stop the violence and start acting responsibly. I express my solidarity with the UN, its staff and the Ukrainian people.”
