As a result of the Russian attack, on September 28, a junior medical nurse of the Kherson City Clinical Hospital named after Afanasy and Olga Tropinykh Svitlana Vishtomova.
At the time of the shelling, Svitlana was on the street, near her house. Two women were also killed.
“This is indescribable… A young woman, mother of three children, bright, full of life… Worked in the department for more than 15 years, did everything in her place for help and support in this difficult time,” the post reads.
The Russians continue to attack medical facilities in the Kherson Region. In August, the Russian army shelled hospitals in Kherson three times. After the first strike in early August, doctor Dmytro Bily was killed and a nurse was injured.
During the second attack, the courtyard was targeted, the morgue building was destroyed. At the time of the attack, employees and patients were in shelter, so there were no casualties.
And on August 26, the hospital building was damaged, doors and 17 windows were broken.
