As a result of Russian shelling, two civilians were injured in the Kupyansk region

Under the procedural leadership of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated. This was reported in the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on February 7, around 10:00 p.m., the Russians shelled the city of Kupyansk. An 88-year-old local resident was injured. Residential buildings were damaged.

Also yesterday evening, the Russians attacked the village of Glushkivka, Kurylivska territorial community. A 41-year-old man was injured.

In addition, on February 7, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Russians shelled the village of Podola, Kurilivska territorial community. Private homes and commercial buildings were damaged.

Previously, the Russian armed forces fired artillery at the indicated settlements of the Kupyansk region.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, collected evidence and recorded the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
