As a result of the Russian drone attack on the center of Kyiv on the morning of January 1, the administrative buildings of the Ukrainian Parliament, where committees and divisions of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are located, were also damaged.
This was reported by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, “the blast wave damaged the surrounding buildings, including the administrative buildings of the Ukrainian Parliament, where committees and divisions of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are located.”
“On January 1, law enforcement agencies and special services worked at the scene, recording the consequences of the attack. An assessment of the damage is underway. Despite the damage, the relevant units of the Verkhovna Rada are making every effort to promptly eliminate the consequences of the attack and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Verkhovna Rada and its bodies,” Stefanchuk added.
