As a result of the large-scale shelling of Kherson, 17 people were injured, three died

Volunteers, utility workers and one teenager are among the victims. The Russians attacked a high-rise building and a university in Kryvyi Rih.

Since the morning of July 31, Russia has shelled Kherson and other cities of the Kherson region. As a result of Russian attacks, 17 people were injured in the city, and three more died, Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, said.

“The youngest victim is only 16 years old. The girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition. One person killed and six injured are employees of the utility company, five more are volunteers. They came under the fire of the Russian Federation when they were helping Kherson people to eliminate the consequences of shelling and flooding,” said Oleksandr Prokudin.

“Today, around 8:20 a.m., the occupiers shelled the central part of Kherson with the Grad anti-aircraft missile system. An employee of the city utility company came under enemy attack. The man died on the spot from his injuries,” wrote the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the intensity of shelling of the Kherson region is connected with the rotations of the Russian army on the temporarily occupied Left Bank. “Russia has replenished its forces, which had previously defeated our armed forces. They will also destroy them, but we have to wait a little,” added the head of the Kherson regional military administration.

The prosecutor’s office reported that in the morning the Russians struck the center of the regional center.

As a result, an employee of the utility company was killed, and four more of his colleagues were injured. At around 11:00 a.m., Russian troops shelled a residential neighborhood in the city of Kherson. A 65-year-old man, who was driving a car on one of the streets at the time of the attack, received multiple shrapnel injuries incompatible with life. As a result of shelling of the regional center, at least 10 civilians were injured.

“Among the wounded are four volunteers and a minor boy. The data is being verified. Shelling continues,” the prosecutor’s office added.

In total, during the day, the Russian army carried out 68 attacks on populated areas of the region, firing 358 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks and UAVs. 36 shells flew over Kherson itself. In a day, five people were injured due to Russian aggression.
