In Kyiv, as a result of a massive Russian missile attack on January 23, the Ukrzaliznytsia sports complex was damaged.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Railways.
“As a result of the shelling, the sports complex of the Ukrainian Railways in Kyiv was damaged. One person was injured. Currently, explosive devices and emergency services are working on the spot. Every day, more than half a thousand children of railway workers and from temporarily displaced families, in particular from Mariupol, Melitopol, Kherson, train on Lokomotiva… fortunately, there were no children in the complex at the time of the incident,” the message reads.
Ukrainian Railways noted that the extent of damage will be assessed after rescue operations are completed.
“Training is canceled for today, but the future of our children will not be destroyed so easily. In the meantime, trains of the Ukrainian Railways are on schedule,” the company added.
