At least 17 settlements were shelled by the Russians in the Kharkiv region

About 17 settlements of the Kharkiv region were hit by Russian artillery and mortar strikes: Sinkivka, Strylecha, Gatyshche, Kotlyarivka and others.

From aviation, they hit Kharkiv, Slobozhanskyi, Vesely, Cherkassy Tyshki, Petropavlivka, Ivanovka.

According to Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, on May 5 at 00:30 Russian troops shelled the village of Oleksandrivka with artillery. Five households were affected, houses and farm buildings were damaged. There was no electricity in part of the village, the power grid was damaged.

In the Kharkiv district, Lipetsk community, a house burned down as a result of shelling in the village of Borschova, as well as in the village of Slobozhanske. A 49-year-old civilian man was killed there, who was on the street next to the house.

According to the General Staff, on May 4, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 attacks in the Kupyansk direction, in particular in the areas of Synkivka, Pishchany, and Kislivka.

Six people, including a child, were injured as a result of the night attack in Kharkiv. On the night of May 5, the Russians launched an unmanned aerial vehicle over Kharkiv.
