At least 545 children have been killed in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression

In total, 1843 Ukrainian children have already suffered from Russian military actions in our country. Most of them are in the Donetsk region.

As of April 20, 2024, 545 children have died in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General with reference to official data from juvenile prosecutors.

More than 1298 minors received injuries of varying severity.

Most children – 529 – were injured in Donetsk region.

Kharkiv region – 346, Kherson – 150, Dnipro – 135, Kyiv – 130, Zaporizhzhia – 108, Mykolaiv – 104 children.

The agency notes that on April 19 alone, an 8-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were killed in the shelling of Sinelnykove, Dnipro region. A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured.

Also on April 19, a 14-year-old boy was wounded in the shelling of Solonchaky village in Mykolaiv region.
