Attack on Dnipro, September 28: 18 injured; business center and six residential buildings damaged

A Russian attack on Dnipro on September 28 caused direct damage to a business center in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Windows were also blown out in six residential buildings.

The number of people injured in the Russian attack on the city has risen to 18, and three people have died. Two women have been hospitalized; medics assess their condition as moderate.

The Dnipro office of the Ukrainian company Opendatabot was also affected by the strike. The company reported no casualties among its team and stated that the incident did not disrupt service operations; automation and all systems are functioning normally.

Specialists are currently continuing to inspect the damaged buildings. Due to the ongoing air raid alert, the total number of people seeking assistance is still being verified.

Municipal crews are working at the scene, clearing debris and helping residents board up broken windows. Special tents have been set up, and a damage assessment commission is at work.

The State Emergency Service reported that rescuers used an aerial ladder to evacuate people trapped on upper floors. Preliminary reports indicate that 49 people were rescued.

In addition to the damage caused by the shelling, significant communication disruptions were reported in the city. In particular, mobile internet service was lost, and Wi-Fi connections also failed in many areas near the site of the attack.

One person was killed and three others were injured, including a 15-year-old boy.

A large-scale fire broke out at the scene of the strike; emergency responders have since brought it under control. A search-and-rescue operation is underway.
