Attack on educational institution in Chuguiv: among the victims is a child

On October 12, the Russian army attacked the Kharkiv region. An educational institution in Chuguiv was hit by a Russian strike.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

At around 01:00, the Russians attacked Chuguiv using four attack UAVs (previously known as “Geran-2”).

As a result of the Russian terror, an educational institution, a vehicle and windows in apartment buildings were damaged.

In addition, five people were injured as a result of the strike. Two of them were women, two were men. A 12-year-old girl was also injured, who was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched,” the prosecutor’s office emphasized.

On the night of October 11-12, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 118 drones and a Kh-31 missile.

In Vovchansk, a residential building caught fire due to a Russian drone strike, but there were no casualties. In the village of Borova, an FPV drone hit an ambulance, damaging the side window. In addition, destruction of agricultural machinery was recorded on the territory of the Borovka community. In the Kupyansky district, an educational institution in the village of Shevchenkove was damaged by shelling.

On October 11, law enforcement officers inspected the scene of the events and entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations into War Crimes.
