Attack on Odessa: not a single whole group remains in one of the kindergartens

In the Kyiv district of Odessa, a kindergarten was significantly damaged as a result of a drone attack on February 18. Almost all the premises and more than a hundred windows were damaged.

“The fight between neighbors and Odessa children’s institutions continues,” commented the head of the city department of education and science, Olena Buynevych.

She reported that many schools and kindergartens in the Kyiv district of Odessa do not have light and heat, so they will work remotely until the heat supply is restored.

“Dear parents whose children attend educational institutions in the Kyiv district, class teachers and educators will inform you about the working hours,” Olena Buynevych wrote on Facebook.

According to the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on the night of February 19, the Russian armed forces attacked Odessa with drones. The Kyivskyi district of the city was under attack.

As a result of the Russian attack, civilian infrastructure was damaged: residential buildings, a children’s clinic, a kindergarten, a business center, shopping facilities and cars.

Four victims are known, including a 10-year-old girl.
