
On February 3, the Russian army carried out a large-scale air attack on Ukraine, focusing its strikes on energy infrastructure facilities. As a result of the shelling, destruction, fires and power outages were recorded in several regions.
In Kyiv and Kyiv region – the power system facilities that provide stable power supply to the capital were hit. In the city, residential buildings and non-residential structures were hit, cars, gas stations and power lines were damaged. Fires broke out in several districts.
Kharkiv – attacks on energy facilities continued for several hours. Due to serious damage, part of the city may be left without centralized heating and water supply. Emergency services are carrying out urgent work.
Vinnytsia region, Ladyzhyn – missiles hit a thermal power plant. The consequences and extent of the damage are being clarified.
Other regions – explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Odesa region and a number of other regions of Ukraine.
