Attacks on Zaporizhzhia region: Russian drone hits car with bread

On August 17, the Russian army continues to attack the Zaporizhzhia region. Another strike hit a car transporting bread products to a front-line village for the population.

According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle was purposefully directed at a car transporting bread to the settlement of Bilenke in the Zaporizhzhia region. Another vehicle was also damaged.

As a result of the Russian shelling, a fire broke out at the site of the strike.

The Russians attacked a car transporting bread to the residents of Bilenke with an FPV drone. A private scooter was also damaged due to the drone attacks, and a fire broke out in an open area. In Bilenke Persh, a house caught fire due to a Russian drone strike. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In total, during August 17, the Russians carried out 1,217 strikes on 60 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were killed and three more were injured as a result of Russian attacks.

The Russian military carried out 20 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Novomykolaivka, Hryhorivka, Viktorivka, Trudove, Novokasyanivka, Barvynivka, Ternivka, Mykhailivske, Maryanivka.

They also used 846 UAVs of various modifications (mainly FPV). One shelling with MLRS and 350 artillery strikes were recorded.

The regional military administration received 35 reports of damage to housing, cars and infrastructure.
