Ballistics strike on Kyiv: one person killed, sixteen injured

As a result of the attack on the capital on August 5, a 60-year-old woman died in the Obolonskyі district of Kyiv. 16 people were injured – they suffered shrapnel wounds, stab wounds, fractures. The consequences of the hits are recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Desnyanskyi, Obolonskyi and Svyatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv.

According to the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, as of 8 am on August 5, a 60-year-old woman died in the Obolonskyі district of Kyiv. 16 people were injured – they suffered shrapnel wounds, stab wounds, fractures. An ambulance driver was among the injured. Four victims are in serious condition,” the report says.

The consequences of the hits are recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Desnyanskyi, Obolonskyi and Svyatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv.

A private house, two post offices, a hypermarket, a logistics center of a supermarket chain, a gas station, and cars were damaged. The final number of victims and damaged objects is being established.

Chairman Vitaliy Klitschko reported that 26 victims are known to have been injured in the capital as a result of the enemy’s attack on the capital.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into another war crime, as a result of which a woman died (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), has been launched.
