Belgorod calling!

So this is how Russian media are covering the incident in their beloved Belgorod that got hit by who knows what. The Russians claim it was a Ukrainian strike.

Well, sure, after you killed and maimed dozens in a Kharkiv hypermarket just earlier today, this is the only way to justify your crime: “Look, they hit us, too!” And I could even suggest that they purposefully fired at their own town to this end. But I won’t.

Look closely at the nature of damage to the building. It is not characteristic, for example, of a 122mm rocket or even a 152mm projectile (that’s given it was a self-inflicted deliberate fire).

This is more like a 1.5-tonne FAB-1500M54 type aerial bomb falling on a building, whose UMPC smart module failed. This version is supported by the damage characteristic of an impact penetration of the roof, the absence of fragmentation elements from the explosion of ammunition (if there was one), and the wave effect on the lower floor, from a heavy object that hit the foundation but never detonated.

That is, the Russian Aerospace Forces, after the bloody attack on Kharkiv, planned to continue the raid, but one of the bombs, as has happened more than once, failed and fell on Belgorod. But, of course, it’s the Ukrainians who are to blame…
