Brovary district of Kyiv region under attack: three women injured, three houses damaged

On August 16, Russia struck Kyiv region again – this time the Brovary district came under attack, where civilians were injured, and several private households were destroyed.

As a result of Russian shelling in Brovary district, three private houses, a car, a utility room and a fence were damaged. Three women were injured. The 50-year-old victim was hospitalized, and doctors had to urgently provide her with assistance. Two more women, aged 38 and 20, were provided with medical assistance directly on the spot.

The patrol police response group, investigative and operational groups, explosives technicians of the Kyiv region police and rescuers of the State Emergency Service quickly deployed to the sites of the Russian shelling. Specialists are recording the scale of the destruction and checking the area for dangerous objects.

In the event of another war crime by the attackers, investigators will initiate criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is ongoing, law enforcement officers are documenting all the consequences of the attack for further transfer of materials to international courts.
