On the night of July 22, Russian troops attacked the Kyivsky district of Odessa with drones, as a result of the strike, a supermarket, a bank and a dozen and a half cars in a parking lot near a residential complex were completely burned down.
The Kopeyka supermarket on Lustdorfskaya Road was damaged by the night shelling. The Shahed supermarket fell right next to the facade of the building, some of the debris flew inside. The blast wave destroyed the goods, equipment and the facade. According to the chain’s executive director Dmitry Bogdanov, the store was 95% destroyed.
Among the damaged objects are the bank building and a fitness club, where the security guard and the cat were miraculously not injured.
Windows were broken in the residential complex. Half of the 30 cars burned in the parking lot were completely destroyed. Public utilities are working on the scene, and a city operational headquarters has been deployed.
Also, as a result of the drone attack, one of the city’s fire and rescue units and the fire department dormitory were damaged: the windows of the buildings were broken and the facade was damaged. Fortunately, the personnel were not injured, as they were in shelter.
According to the prosecutor’s office, a 41-year-old woman was injured and received a mine-explosive injury – she was hospitalized. Ten more people were provided with psychological assistance.
