Center of national resistance: in the occupied territories, the Russian invaders oppress denominations not under their control

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians conduct searches in religious denominations.

“Currently, the Russians are repressing a number of denominations in the Temporarily Occupied Territory, in particular, searches were conducted in the parishes of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, and Jehovah’s Witnesses.”

Some members of religious communities were detained,” the message reads. The Center of National Resistance notes that the Kremlin “ensures controlled denominations a monopoly on the captured territories.”

“All this is happening against the background of the meeting of Gauleiter Yevgeny Balitsky with Kyril Gundyaev – the head of the Moscow church.

At it, the collaborator promised to assist Russian religious figures in their activities in the Temporarily Occupied Territory,” the agency added.

Earlier, the examination of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience under the Cabinet of Ministers established that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, despite the adoption of a new statute, remains subordinate to the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Cabinet of Ministers has already registered a government bill in the Verkhovna Rada, which prohibits the activity of pro-Russian religious organizations in Ukraine.

The government was instructed to develop this bill at a special meeting of the National Security Council on December 1, dedicated to the destructive actions of the Moscow Patriarchate. At that time, sanctions were also adopted against traitorous priests, and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) intensified inspections of the objects of the Moscow Patriarchate.

During the war, 6,116 buildings and structures in Kharkiv were damaged.

Among the damaged facilities, 3,352 are apartment buildings, 1,809 are private houses, 280 are kindergartens, schools and higher education institutions, 77 are health care facilities, 174 are administrative buildings and social infrastructure facilities, 424 are other facilities. objects, including communal and critical infrastructure, commercial buildings. “Commissions of the authorized body examined 3,114 objects and carried out a technical examination of 968 building objects, of which: 63% have the first, 34% – the second, and 3% – the third category of damage, which is equal to the destruction of 40, 80 and 100%, respectively,” said the Kharkiv City Council with reference to the Department of Housing and Communal Services.

In total, more than 18,000 objects were destroyed in the Kharkiv region due to the war. More than 8,000 of them are residential buildings.

Last day, the Russian occupiers continued shelling the border settlements of Chuguyiv, Kupyan and Kharkiv districts.

At least 23 settlements were under mortar and artillery fire, including:

• Zarutske, Vovkivka, Atynske, Stukalyvka, Sokhany, Pavlivka, Yunakivka, Sadky and Myropillia in Sumy region and Uda, Chervona Zorya, Krasne, Liptsi, Staritsa, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, Verkhnya Pisarivka, Ambarne, Figolivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and Western in the Slobozhansk direction;
• Kupyansk, Synkivka, Kucherivka, Pischane, Kurylivka, Kislivka and Berestovka on Kupyansk. Kotlyarivka and Tabaivka were shelled from aircraft.

As a result of shelling, two people died in Dvorichnaya. In the Chuguyiv district, five injured people were hospitalized, including a child. Private and multi-apartment residential buildings were also damaged, there were fires, and the building of the emergency department was damaged.

Demining continues: during the day, pyrotechnics neutralized 25 explosive objects.

According to the information of the General Staff, in the Kharkiv region, the enemy continues to focus its efforts on advancing along the Kupyansk direction. On Slobozhansky, no signs of an offensive formation were detected.

On February 9, the Russian occupiers massively fired mortars and artillery at the civilian population of the districts of Kharkiv region, adjacent to the contact line and the border with the Russian Federation. This is reported by Kharkiv News.

According to data from the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, around 9:00 a.m., the occupiers struck Kupyansk. The residential building was almost destroyed. Shelling was also carried out in the village of Dvorichna in the Kupyan district.

After 10:00 in the morning, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the villages of Vesele and Krasne of the Kharkiv district.

Around 12:00 p.m., Russian troops launched 14 mortar attacks on Bogodukhiv district. Shelling was recorded in the villages of Udy and Chervona Zorya.
