Chairman Sadovy spoke about the consequences of the Russian attack on Lviv

The damage caused by the attack on Lviv and its suburbs on the night of June 19 exceeds UAH 20 million. There are wounded, one of whom is in serious condition.

This was announced by the chairman of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy. The injured 70-year-old security guard is currently in the hospital. He was diagnosed with fractures and shrapnel wounds. The prognosis for him is positive, but the man is in serious condition. Another wounded person has lighter injuries – cuts.

“In general, there is a lot of destruction. In fact, the office building of the research institute, which is under the State Production Service, was destroyed,” said the Lviv mayor.

The losses are huge – more than 20 million hryvnias. In addition, another office building was destroyed. Fortunately, there were no workers there, although sometimes they come to work there in the third shift.

“Private sector – 15 houses – windows were blown out, doors were twisted. A multi-storey building – the windows were also blown out,” the chairman said.

The city begins to pay compensations: up to 12,000 hryvnias for each destroyed window, up to 8,000 hryvnias for each door. In addition, two private companies that suffered losses will receive a certificate of 500,000 hryvnias each.

On the night of June 19, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with the 21st attack UAV of the “Shahed-131/136” type, 19 Dons were destroyed. Despite the fact that the air defense managed to shoot down all the drones flying to the Lviv region, a hit was recorded in the village of Malekhiv in the Lviv district. There is an injured person, a high-rise building, buildings in the private sector and an office building where the injured man was also damaged.
