
On October 8, Russian forces struck a school in a community within the Bucha district of the Kyiv region.
According to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the regional military administration, windows and the sports and playgrounds in Sviatopetrivske were damaged in the attack.
At the time of the strike, children and teachers were in the shelter; no one was injured.
In the Fastiv district, debris from a Russian target fell onto the grounds of a kindergarten; the children were already home, but the watchman and the facility manager were injured.
