Consequences of Russian strikes on Kherson region: Four killed and 11 wounded, civilian objects damaged

On November 22, the Russians shelled the territory of Kherson region with multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, and attacked with drones of various types, resulting in deaths and injuries.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the communications department of the Kherson regional police.

On November 22, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Sadovoe, Belozerka, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Zarichne, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Ponyativka, Beryslav, Tarasa Shevchenko, Tomarine, Novoraisk, Stepne, Chervonyi Mayak, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Shevchenkivka, Burgunka, Lviv, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Havrylivka, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Mylove, Vesele, Kozatske and the city of Kherson were under Russian drone terror, air strikes and artillery shelling.

“Four civilians were killed and 11 were injured as a result of the Russian strikes, including a young child,” the police said.

Russian military struck critical and social infrastructure, residential areas of settlements in the region.

As a result of Russian strikes, five apartment buildings and 18 private households, eight cars, an administrative building and a store, an outbuilding, a mobile communications tower, a municipal enterprise building, and a gas station were damaged.

After midnight on November 22, the Russian military shelled the “Northern” neighborhood with artillery. As a result of the “arrivals”, 11 private houses, two high-rise buildings, an outbuilding, and three civilian vehicles were damaged.

At noon on November 22, the coastal territory of the Central district of Kherson came under mortar fire. The explosions damaged an administrative building.

The coastal residential development of the Dnipro district was under artillery fire by the Russian military. As a result of the “arrivals”, two private homes were damaged and three women were fatally injured – one of them is 75, the other is 79 years old, the identity of the third deceased is being established. In addition, three more women aged 63, 77 and 78 were injured, who were quickly evacuated by police officers to provide the necessary medical care.

Also, as a result of the shelling, an apartment building in the “Tavriysky” microdistrict, a private home in the Korabelny district were damaged.

In addition, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, a Russian FPV drone damaged a private house.

In another microdistrict, a Russian UAV operator dropped explosives next to a 39-year-old woman. She was hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury and injuries to both legs and the torso.

Shelling in Kherson region

On the morning of November 22, a private residence in Mykilske was damaged after the Russians dropped ammunition from a drone.

A private house in Belozerka was also damaged as a result of the shelling.

On the outskirts of Ingulets, a Russian FPV drone hit a civilian minibus. As a result, two men aged 24 and 54 were injured. Both received mine-explosive and traumatic brain injuries. The younger victim also had a concussion and minor shrapnel wounds to the back and head.

Kizomys was under artillery fire. One of the Russian shells hit a private house, killing a 77-year-old pensioner on the spot.

On the evening of November 22, the Russians attacked a store building in Stepne with kamikaze drones. As a result of the hits, a 38-year-old man received a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body.

During the day on November 22, in Novovorontsovka, the Russian military damaged two vehicles, a mobile phone tower, an apartment building, and a gas station with FPV drones, after which a fire broke out.

In Novoraisk, a building of a local utility company was damaged due to an attack by a Russian UAV.

Another vehicle was damaged by drones near Zarechny and in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson.
