Consequences of the air strike on Sumy on August 11

As a result of an airstrike on Sumy on August 11, 2 enterprise buildings and a critical infrastructure object were damaged, the Pivnich operational command reported. According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out by a guided aerial bomb.

Currently, eight people are known to have been injured as a result of an airstrike in Sumy on August 11. Five people are being treated on an outpatient basis, three are hospitalized. There is electricity and water supply. Work is underway to restore gas supply in one of the damaged buildings, reported the Sumy City Military Administration.

Next to the house on Lykhvinska Street, a mobile headquarters was deployed to help those whose property was damaged. The head of the house committee of the damaged building, Hanna Babich, says that her apartment survived, but there is destruction in the entrances of her house.

According to the first deputy mayor Artem Kuznetsov, one residential building was damaged by the impact: “The operational headquarters was deployed today. People apply and a special commission examines the places.”
