It saved me. After a loud explosion, the ceiling fell on me, but I escaped with light scratches. If I was outside, all the glass would fly at me. Today is my second birthday. I come from Bakhmut, even there I did not have to experience this. I’m still shocked,” said Inna, a resident of Kryvyi Rih.
Oleksandr was also working when it all started. “I was at the workplace when the air raid alert was announced. After a few seconds, he heard a whistle and an explosion. Everything flew: glass, doors, and windows. I received minor injuries, but the car was damaged,” said injured resident Oleksandr.
Another local woman was at home with her children. After announcing the alarm, they hid in the bathroom. The woman says that it saved her family. “During the flight, we were with the children in the bathroom. An explosion was heard about a minute after the announcement of the air alert. When they went to the apartment, they saw severe destruction. I was very scared, because there could be another explosion. Then we hid again. Fortunately, the children and I were not injured,” said a local resident.
