On the night of February 10, residential buildings and cars were damaged as a result of a Russian drone hitting a residential area of Sumy.
According to the headquarters for liquidation of the consequences of emergencies, the explosion occurred at about 22:48 near a house on Zbrojovnykh Sil Ukrainy Street. As a result of the attack, one person was injured and hospitalized, but is now receiving outpatient treatment.
The explosion damaged six houses, five of which were high-rise buildings. 348 windows were broken in these houses. Gas supply has already been restored to one of the most damaged houses. Six cars were also destroyed.
More than 200 people and 30 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident. Rescuers are carrying out work to dismantle damaged structures and restore the roof. Public utilities are restoring engineering networks and eliminating the consequences of the fire.
Representatives of public organizations are providing assistance to the victims, who are providing them with hot meals and psychological support.
