Emergency power outages in the city and region. On the morning of November 17, the Russian Federation launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian energy facilities, Odesa and the Odesa region, as well as a number of other regions, were left without electricity, and there was no water supply in the regional center. Currently, by order of Ukrenergo, emergency power outages have been introduced in Odesa region and a number of other regions, electric transport has stopped in Odesa, and most urban and suburban subscribers are without electricity.
In addition, there is no water supply in the city. As reported in the press service of the “Infoksvodokanal” branch, a number of critical facilities were de-energized. To restore the water supply, part of the pumping stations were transferred to work from generators. However, the considerable capacity and technological conditions of operation of some pumping stations do not allow the use of autonomous power sources.
That is why, due to the lack of electricity at some facilities of the water utility, there are interruptions in water supply to consumers in various districts of Odesa. After the power supply is restored, they promise to return the water supply as soon as possible.
