
On March 24, Russian troops shelled Vinnytsia region, resulting in one person being killed and numerous injured. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Natalia Zabolotna, and the State Emergency Service of Vinnytsia region.
“As of now, 11 people have been injured and 1 person has died as a result of the massive attack on Vinnytsia region,” the head of the regional military administration noted as of 6:45 p.m. According to her, all relevant services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the strike.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region also reported the attack.
“Today, Vinnytsia was subjected to a Russian attack. The city center was targeted. 9 private residential buildings and two high-rise buildings were damaged. 13 people were injured, another person was killed. Fires in the residential sector have been extinguished. “Psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 36 people,” the official statement said.
92 rescuers and 19 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the shelling. Emergency units continue to work on the ground and provide assistance to the victims.
